The Gem Theatre – Located downtown in the City of Etowah, McMinn County, The Gem Theatre is a historic 1927 built theatre that offers musical and theatrical shows throughout the year. Home of the “Annual Cousin Jack Memorial Bluegrass Festival,” that takes place in March of every year. The festival is in memory of Jake Tullock, Etowah native, who played bass with Flatt and Scruggs for 20 years. The Gem has its own resident theatre company, The Gem Players, who offer live performances throughout the year.
