Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Business Innovation
McMinn County is currently in the preliminary engineering stages of developing a regional Advanced Manufacturing and Business Innovation Center that will be tailored to meet the advanced manufacturing training needs of local industry and to further enhance our workforce preparedness initiatives. The Center will offer flexible classroom and laboratory designs to fit different training environments. The Center will allow for training through the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Cleveland State Community College, internal industry training from our regional industrial partners, and third-party vendor training. The Center will be designed to focus on training on advanced manufacturing technologies and is being supported by the Tennessee Board of Regents, local communities, and industry partners. The Center will also offer a Business Innovation center to incubate entrepreneurial businesses as they start-up new enterprises in the region.
