The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is the supplier of electricity to the local power distributors: Athens Utilities Board, Etowah Utilities Board, and Volunteer Electric Cooperative. TVA has 99.999% electric power reliability, industrial and commercial rates below the national average, and has consistently been named one of the Top 10 North American Utilities by Site Selection Magazine. TVA can also provide direct service for qualified industrial customers. TVA offers both interruptible and non-interruptible rates and programs to qualified industrial customers to offset some of the cost of electricity. Please refer to the Incentive section of our website for more information.
